do it again! and again and again!

yesterday my boss and co-workers took me out for lunch at a thai restro~ we picked thursday cuz a lot of other pple can't make it on friday (my last day)~~ and i thought it was halarious when we headed out ;P

thursday morning i looked at the sky and it looked pretty clear, so i decided that i wouldn't need an umbrella~ then as the morning passes the sky got darker and darker~ and by lunch, it looked like it was raining a bit outside~ everyone had an umbrella at the office, so we all headed down...then when we got to the front door, we couldn't believe our eyes, it was POURING LIKE CRAZY! and the wind made it so much scarier! we kinda waited for a bit to see if it'd die down a little since the restro is about 10 minutes walking distance but it didn't really die down~ and there was me, just couldn't stop laughing~ kinda felt like Storm...in X-man...how she brings the thunder....cuz i was starting to feel that i was bringing down the rain~ hahaha~ God musta been amused when my dad decided to call me and my bro "rain" ~~ seeing all that is in the future ;P anyway, so i told the others that it alawys rains on my special day, since i have rain in my name ;P so that today must be a special day ;P we toughed it out and decided to walk in the rain~ and by the time we got to the restro everyone's pant-legs were soaked! and they just couldn't stop "blaming" me for being soaked ;P (of course, blaming in a joking way ;P) anyway, when we finished it was still pouring, but hey, work is work, we've gotta get back ;P so we tough it out again ;P and got our half-dried pant-legs wet again~~~i felt sorry for the pple that wore jeans that day~ wet jeans is just not the best feeling ;P and those with dress pants ;P haha, definately need an ironing job ;P
and it was soooo funny when i went back to my cubicle and looked out the window~ cuz during the time that we entered our building and got to the 6th floor, the rain died down ;P and turned into a drizzle ;P and i looked at the sky and smiled ;P cuz He played with me again ;P a game that i never get tired of...and never failed to be amazed =)
btw, friday (when our lunch was suppose to be) was a very sunny day =) go figure =) and i decided that i'm gonna have a coffee =P my first coffee since i've been working here... ;P first coffee on my last day =) haha~ enuff slakin' back to work ^_~

it's been almost a week since i last posted! waha~ i'm slackin'!!! work's is soooo busy today! never been this busy at the office ;P kee hee~ i'm tired already ^^ this weekend was uber buzy....lotza time spent on going from one place to another...friday, when going to benita's farewell, i got lost.....twice! ;P haha, yeah, lost in ottawa ^^, first, i was suppose to turn left on carling, but somehow i missed it ;P and when i wanted to do a U-turn, i was too scared....so i turned into a residential street to turn, but a big sign that says "no u-turn" blocked me =(((( so after, i ended up doing a three-point turn further down the road...and bumped into a tree/bush ;P haha, i got to greek suvlaki safe tho ;P kee hee~ the dishes are soooo huge...one of those could probably last me 6 meals ;P haha~ and inevitably, i got lost again on my way back...i missed a left turn...so i had to go stright...and all these signs that says no u-turn and no left-turn came up =((( and when i finally was able to do a left turn i saw signs that points to riverside....;P hahaha, i'm a horrible driver ;P i'm gonna get a chuffer(sp) in the future to keep me from mischief ;P kee hee~

so saturday was busy busy busy...taught piano in the morning, went to my own piano lesson (an extra cuz it's a day before my recital), then went to mandarin worship practice~ then at nite, farewell semi-formal dinner at fellowship~ (mark says i actually look my age that day!!!) tho, i'd have to say, the highlight of the day is after dinner and the "amazing race" ;P we got to jam a little bit ^^ and it was awesome ^^ and the reason that i was so awesome is that i got to play the drum again!!! ^O^ a-ha~~ and for the first time, i experineced what it meant to "just hit"~! whenever i ask pple how to play, they always say "just hit it" and i never quite know which one to hit...haha, but today ;P i just hit....hitting whatever that comes to mind ;P and it didn't sound THAT bad!!! =D (even tho karl did give me a few wince here and there when i hit something really wacky...or come in at the wrong time...hahahaha) but i'm learning!!! =D

sunday...after church, i went home to practice for an hour for my recital.....but i still stalled during the real thing.... i mean...i never get that bar wrong..but for some reason...i did on sunday =( and there was this bar that i couldn't remember for the life of me =( ....booooooo....i don't like recitals...=( ....tho...i was pleasantly surpirsed....before, there're a few pple that always seem to play so well, and i always admired how they can play so well even during recitals....but sunday, some of them played something that i've played before...and man! they make mistakes too! the only thing that they do different is they kept going like the mistake never happened! ...granted, for those who knows the song and studied it will know it's a mistake but for those who's never heard the music, it sounds absolutely marvellous!! now, i'm not laughing at their mistakes...they're still really great piano players...but seriously...i always get really upset after piano recitals cuz i never really play anything perfectly...especially in front of a crowd...and it always upsets me more cuz everyone else seem to be able to do it except me...but but...but now i know =P now i know i'm not the only one ;P (is this what "misery likes company" mean? ;p haha) anyway ;P i still suck at performing...but now i don't feel as bad ;P and i need to work on not stalling when i make a mistake.....still gotta practice more tho...blah...when i listen to myself play, everything seems so slow...but when i listen to other pple play...their fingers always seem to glide over the keyboard at the speed of light... ;P is it just me? phooey....anyway, i'm just rambling...don't mind me =P
