a nite of pumpkin and princess ^^

HAHA~ LAST NITE WAS AWESOME~!!! ^O^ went to NAC to watch a ballet! CINDERELLA!!! :D (it's a shame how i pass by NAC almost everyday when i go to school and never set foot in it....MY FIRST TIME!!! YEAH!) hee hee, so one day outta no where, benita pops up with an email asking if i want to take advantage of the live rush and go see cinderella~ and i was like "*GASP!* CINDERELLA?! BALLET~! OF COURSE!" (hee hee, i've had live rush cards for 4 years and never once have i used it) so the two of us met up after work and not knowing exactly how it works, decides to swing by NAC to ask for some info first~ the guy at the ticket booth told us how there's only 20 tickets left~ and that since it's a ballet, we might want to start lining up at 5:20pm for the live rush booth to open at 6pm~ then he paused...and said "actually, since it IS a ballet, you might want to line up at 5"~ we looked at our watch and it was around 4:15ish~ so we decided to take a self guided tour of the NAC :P and admired all the "arts" in the glass cases~ then we took a seat at the front lobby~ but decided might as well wait in line :P ~~~afraid of being bored, we raided the pamphlet shelve and head over to the booth~ we waited for an hour and a half! but it didn't seem that long tho~ cuz we ended up chatting about stories ;P it started out pretty normal~ since it's a cinderella ballet we talked about disney movies~ then it went on to children's literature and i totally ruined benita's image of little red riding hood ;P (we realized that children's stories are actually quite morbid....muhahahaahahah) and then for some insane reason we started talking about horror movies ;P (most of the ones i saw a few summers ago...A-HEM!TIM!...*lol*) and everytime someone walks to the ticket booth, which was different from the live rush booth) my heart skip a beat, cuz we were so afraid that it's gonna be sold out by 6!! btw, pple started lining up way before 5:20.....)anyway ;P so when the clock strike 12, ah, i mean 6 (hee hee) we went up to the booth and asked if they had 2 tickets~ she frowned and said that no two seats are together, benita and i was like "AWWWWW!" but of course, just in our head, not out loud ;P then the lady told us to wait and started talking to someone on the phone~ me and benita clung together hoping that maybe a seat will pop up somewhere (demo of wishful thinking~ haha) and just when i was picturing me and benita on two sides of the theatre waving to each other, the lady got off the phone~ and was like well, "there's one here" *and she points* "and there's one here" *and her fingers moved up with a bit of hesitation* i was waiting for her to point somewhere REALLY far but she landed one row ahead! it probably took only a split second, but to me it seemed like a reallly long hesitation! ;P haha~ so we FINALLY got the ticket and ran to rideau for a quick dinner (btw, we did put back the pamphlet that we raided, i mean, don't want to kill any innocent trees now ^_~ ) ha~ we went back at 7:30 and the place was already crowded with people~ after getting our tickets scanned we got in and well, being the first time there we looked really lost ;P but then someone came and helped us find our way ^^ hee hee~ we were in the Amp theatre~ yup yup yup~ and i looked up the price, it's $53 cdn plus tax and other charges~ hahahah, and we paid 9.50 for ours cuz of live rush! GO LIVE RUSH! kee hee~ the ballet was awesome~ i love the backdrops! and their costume are sooo pretty! the style is very modern, and the ladies in the ball room has really awesome dresses~!!! and of course, just when i was wondering how the pumpkin's gonna come in, it came in the most unexpected way! wahah~ and it looked sooooo comfortable in there!! :D hee hee~ and the orchestra~ *dreamy sigh* i wish i can play in an orchestra ^^ i miss my school band days :P kee hee hee~ on the stage, everyone is doing something of their own~ it's so hard to look at everyone at the same time! especiall when cinderella is turning back to her old self~~ *clapping and jumping up and down* haha~ anyway, then afterwards we wanted to take some pictures to proof tha we've been at the NAC ;P haha but benita's camera ran outta battery ;P~ so we just captured everything with our eyes instead ;P but we'll hafta go on a photo shoot sometime to capture ottawa at nite ^^ *lol* the evening was awesome~ tho, i came home with really really really really sore foot....i'm not normally that weak ;P i mean, standing/walking for 4 hours is nothing really...but...*sigh* my shoes was a little too fitting to say the lest ;P and by the end of the day, i felt like my toes were crushed.....boooooo~ hee hee, but the ballet was worth it tho ^O^ TOTALLY WORTH IT! haha~ thanks benita! for a LOVELY evening~ ^O^v

broken biological clock >O<

ok, so since i went to bed at 1 the day before, i figger i'll take a nap after i get home before i start working on my theory homework.....it was such a nice day~ very sunny, but i was too tired ;P i crawled into bed at 5:30pm thinking that my biological clock would tell me to wake up since it's not bed time yet ;P but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. i drifted to sleep...and after a min or two (or what SEEMED like a min or two) i heard voices...voices of machines...i opened my eyes and all i see is darkness...i flipped on my light and grabbed my clock....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! IT'S ALREADY 10:30PM!!!! AND I HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK!!!! (but eyes so heavy....) so hopped into the shower hoping that'd wake me up~ (and it did, whew~) and click click click throughout the nite typing up my homework (well, resume/application, whatever) i managed to finish everything by 3:30am and still with lotza energy ^^ but still, i went back to sleep for another two hours~ which adds up to be 7 hours :D perfect ^O^ haahaah~ i hope today i wouldn't be a night owl again ;p it's probably gonna cost me my health if i do it too often:P (btw, if you're wondering, the voices of machine is the answering machines~ scared myself #^.^#)

Silliness

i should really stop scaring people in the elevators ;P it's a pretty nice elevator i should say...with mirrors on all sides and six little lights to go with it~ i always feel like i'm in a hotel when i'm in that elevator ^^ it's pretty big too...makes me feel really small in that elevator so i always like to stay in the corner closer to the buttons with my back against the wall ^^ and of course, whenever the door opens pple that are getting on doesn't see me until they've come in...some doesn't even realize i'm inside until they've come in and turned around ;P haha~ i really don't mean to scare them >O<

it's the littlest things that makes me smile :)

6:30am~ was waiting by the bus stop crushing little pieces of ice under my heel while thinking to myself what a lovely day it is to be able to wait with the sun as oppose to the moon~ (well, waking up before the sun and waiting by the moonlight is not bad either~ i usually count the stars and perdict the weather by them ^_~ ha~)
the bus driver at 6:30am is usually a cheery middle-aged man~ and he always stops without me having to wave (there are some bus drivers that won't stop if you don't wave =*( i learned that by experience...) anyway, and today, since there's a new bus driver that wouldn't recognize me, i thought i'd stick my hand out to let him know that i wanna get on~ so i waved, a very quick wave that is~ and to my surprise and delight, as soon as i did, he waved back at me ;P now that was very unexpected and i burst into a full smile~ bus drivers usually just glace at you, and stop the bus, but this one waved back~! haha~ i know i'm a silly but believe it or not, it made my day :D the littlest things...~ ^^v
