no more msn

hrm...so i've always took msn for granted...even tho i don't really go online that much, but the little green icon is always at the right hand corner waiting to be opened.....
but but, yesterday i tried to sign in and a message popped up and said that i need to update to a newer version in order to continue...so i did that. but after installing it, error messages kept popping up! i tried uninstalling 7.0 and back to 6.2 but now 6.2 won't even let me sign in! so now i'm msnless...well, i guess i could use the web messenger..but that really sucks =(
